A two part of event - Thursday ,24 April ( 2 hours ) and May 3 ( Full day )
This a 2 part workshop- Thursday May 24 6:30 pm and Saturday May 3, 9:30 am
In early spring I plan to recover my outdoor patio furniture with a fresh look. - I will be looking if I need to replace foam? I will be repainting the wood ith chaulk paint
I will : - Choose outdoor fabric that I can make flame retardant as it is around the firepit.
- I will make a pattern from the existing pieces.
- I will make contrasting piping
- I will insert a zipper or use velcro to make a closing. Join me in this two part class to show you how to do the same.
Thursday, 24 April 6:30- 8:30 pm AND Saturday 3 May , 9:30- 4 pm
Machines provided in the studio, but you are welcome to bring your own. At the Thursday class we will disscuss fabric needs and I will show you how to calculate how much to purchase and what to purchase. We will discuss goals.
I do have a lot of fabric and zippers donated to the studio- you might find something that you can use or you will need to head to Fabricland in Calgary to purchase fabric. YES, you do need to know basic sewing. How to operate a bsic machine,thread and wind a bobbin.
I will teach you zippers and piping.
You will cut and sew......but might have to continue at home, depending on how many items you need to cover.
On Saturday bring a bagged lunch . Hot drinks provided.
